We’ve worked numerous Homicide cases both as the OIC (Officer in Charge) and while assisting other detectives in Flint, Michigan. It was routine to be called out afterhours for shootings, stabbings, suspicious deaths, etc. where we processed crime scenes, took measurements, interviewed and interrogated suspects and witnesses, collected and analyzed video, social media, took DNA, etc. As the OIC, we’ve sat several trials and have testified numerous times.
